Elf the Musical is now playing at the Detroit Opera House from December 3-15th. This is a must see musical for children of all ages, parents, kids, grandkids, grand parents, little ones, teens, adults. Approximately 2 1/2 hours with a 20 min or so intermission. The sets are some of the best I have seen yet and the acting on stage is incredible. Don’t miss out on this great production, you will really enjoy it!
Monday November 18th was a great event at MJR theatres in Sterling Hgts. I was lucky enough to go to the red carpet event for the long awaited sequal to the hunger games, Catching Fire. It was a late night ending at 1:00 a.m. – my evening started with a walk down the red carpet, then a photo opportunity with some great guys locally doing premiere pictures, they are called Tapsnap phototainment, (they do all kinds of events, got an event or birthday, wedding give Raymond Lousia a call 248-671-4472 he is really nice, all the guys pictured with me from tapsnap were really cool and nice! Give them a call for your next event) After pictures, it was off to the theatre, no cell phones or any type of electronic recording devices allowed, a walk thru the man with the hand held metal detector and to the theatre we went. Plenty of prize giveaways, i was lucky to get a t-shirt finding the lucky magnet on my seat, then many of us got a free poster, we watched at 9:30 a live feed from the red carpet event in California, then the movie began, great movie go see it opening day is friday November 22, 2013.
The hit broadway musical Mamma Mia! come to the Fisher theatre for Broadway in Detroit. My night began with being welcomed with friendly and extrememly helpful ushers. I was guided to my comfortable and spcious seat where I would wait as anticipation built up while waiting for the musical to begin. Mamma Mia! Finally Mamma Mia began and i immediately noticed that the stage would have evolve around one set. there was superior acting that made up for only the main one set. As the musical came to an end, I realized that i thouroughly enjoyed every momment of it.
